Parking Information

OPC Office Parking Lot:

If parking is available in the OPC parking lot located on Sheriff St behind and adjacent to OPC, please print out the OPC Visitor Pass and place on the dashboard prior to your arrival. Download Pass Here Add please park in the lower lot if possible. The upper lot is designated for OPC vehicles, staff, and the Family Support Organization staff.

J-Lot – End of Sheriff Street
  • J-Lot is just a short walk to our office building and offers paid public parking with a 3 hour parking maximum.
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82
  • Merge onto Rt. 37 East (On the right side will be “Toms River Center” with a Kohl’s on one end and a “Moe’s Southwest Grill” on the other end.)
  • Make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street.
  • To enter the rear of the building, turn left onto Legion Street (between an apartment building and a law office) and then a quick left onto Sheriff St.
  • Drive to the end of the road (a short distance) and make a right onto Hyers St (a tennis court will be on the left and a small office building will on the right) and then a quick left onto Sheriff St.
  • J-Lot is located at the end of Sheriff St. on the left (after the baseball fields). This lot is $0.75 Per Hour with a 3 hour parking maximum. The public spaces are numbered 1000-1025 and located next to Horner St.
  • After paying the meter, walk back along Sheriffs St. towards Hyers St.
  • Once you have passed the red and white building on the right, the rear of the office building will be on left.
  • There is a walkway on the right side of the building that leads to the front of the building.
Metered Parking in Front of Office
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82
  • Merge onto Rt. 37 East (On the right side will be “Toms River Center” with a Kohl’s on one end and a “Moe’s Southwest Grill” on the other end.)
  • Make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street.
  • Travel approximately 0.6 miles and make a left at the next light onto Washington Street.
  • OPC’s office building will be located on the left (approximately 300 ft.)
  • There are many metered parking spots. If you are going to be in the office for less than 20 minutes, you can hit any button on the meter and receive 20 minutes free of charge.
  • The receptionist at the front desk will also have quarters available for you to use free of charge.
Ocean County Parking
Garage behind Library
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82
  • Merge onto Rt. 37 East (On the right side will be “Toms River Center” with a Kohl’s on one end and a “Moe’s Southwest Grill” on the other end.)
  • Make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street.
  • Travel approximately 0.6 miles and make a left at the next light onto Washington Street.
  • Make the next right onto Robbins St. There will be a small park on the right.
  • Make the first left off of Robbins St. On the left will be a small county parking lot. The parking garage will be on the right.
  • After paying the meter, walk back towards Washington St. You will see the park on left and the office is located directly across the street from the park.
Irons Street Lot
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82
  • Merge onto Rt. 37 East (On the right side will be “Toms River Center” with a Kohl’s on one end and a “Moe’s Southwest Grill” on the other end.)
  • Make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street.
  • Travel approximately 0.5 miles and make a right onto Irons Street. There will be a Crossfit on your left.
  • Follow Irons Street as it bends to the left.
  • You will see the Free Parking Lot on the right. There is a 4 hour parking maximum in this lot.
  • To locate the OPC office building from this lot, approximately a 7 minute walk, head back towards Main St. Make a right onto Main St.
  • Walk to the light (Washington St.) and make a left.
  • The office is located approximately 300 ft. on the left (directly across from Capone’s Pizzeria and a small park.
County Parking Garage
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82
  • Merge onto Rt. 37 East (On the right side will be “Toms River Center” with a Kohl’s on one end and a “Moe’s Southwest Grill” on the other end.)
  • Make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street.
  • Travel approximately 0.6 miles and make a left at the next light onto Washington Street.
  • At the next light, make a left onto Hooper Ave./Rt. 549 (On the left will be a large sign that reads “Ocean County Courthouse”)
  • Travel a short distance and make a right onto Madison Ave. The parking garage will be on the right.
  • To locate the OPC office building from this garage, walk on Hooper Ave. back towards Washington St. The office will be approximately 800 feet on the right.

Metered Parking in front of office & throughout downtown:

  • Meters are enforced 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Sundays and Holidays.
  • All street meters accept quarters and credit/debit cards.
  • Kiosks do not give change.
  • When paying for parking using a credit/debit card, the maximum time allowed for the lot must be purchased.
  • Pay by cell is available for all paid parking.
  • All visitors must enter the front of the building and be registered with the administrative staff.
